An island covering an area of 5, 561 sq kilometres and totally surrounded by oceans it is only natural that a lot of the coastline and the coastal roads can be spectacular not only to drive along, but with the added bonus of outstanding panoramic views.

I don’t generally put up other people’s writing on the Baliblog (nor do I intend to make it a habit) but in the case of a Baliblog Forum member, Phil Bromley, who recently returned from Bali, so impressed was I with his account regarding his stay in Candi Dasa and the fabulous fotos that I

Often people ask me what I consider to be good places not to miss when they visit Bali. Naturally I reel off the names of quite a few places, however, there is one village in east Bali that is not to be missed in my opinion - the village of Tenganan.
