No surprise, Orlando’s the #1 destination for family spring break, with two blockbuster theme park complexes - Disney World, and Universal Orlando - plus SeaWorld and its Discovery Cove theme park and Aquatica water park. And don’t forget Orlando’s live entertainment: Blue Man Group has a permanent venue, as does Cirque Du Soleil, pictured above. Florida also has beautiful beaches on both its Gulf and Atlantic coasts. These beaches, however, are magnets for crazy college spring break partiers. Best strategy for families is to choose a more private beach resort (-a higher price tag will sift out spring-breakers, too!)
